Training

A little knowledge goes a long, long way. Especially when it comes to Fire Safety.

After all, Preservation of Life is paramount and you can never have too many people prepared.

With this firmly in mind, Extreme Fire Solutions offers a comprehensive In-House Client Development Training Program as part of our commitment to delivering a better client experience.

This program has been developed to assist in removing the ‘mystery’ surrounding the fire protection systems installed on your site. It will

  • Provide familiarity of Fire Protection Assets, what they do and why they are there.

  • Provide understanding of basic preventative maintenance, including identifying faults, defects (critical and non-critical) and achieving compliance.

  • Provide a greater understanding of legislative requirements that oversee regular maintenance over the life of the client’s site.

  • Help your team develop a proactive approach to fire safety and the management of fire maintenance costs.

To help all our community, we also like to share handy educational tidbits and useful information about fire safety. Just another part of Extreme Fire Solutions Corporate Vision to provide effective fire protection for the whole the community, with the common goal of ‘Preservation of Life’.

Fire Detection Systems

The key factor in the detection of fire and alerting all occupants is time. The quicker a fire alert can be made, the sooner all persons can be safely removed from any potential harm and the quicker fire brigade can attend.

Installing a Fire Detection System serves this very purpose by continually monitoring a building using various detection devices, reporting the data back to a central, Fire Indicator Panel, in the event of an emergency alert the occupants, and if configured to do so, alert a 3rd party monitoring company to alert the Fire Brigade.

Fire Detection Systems are not the same and this video demonstrates the system that is designed for specific operation in this particular building.

Emergency Warning Intercommunication System

The successful evacuation of large sites or multi-storey buildings is supported with an Emergency Warning Intercommunciation System (EWIS). Understanding the operation of these systems can be easily and logically explained and demonstrated visually.

While not all EWIS systems are the same, this short video demonstrates ‘How an EWIS works’ in general terms.
