Air-handling systems are installed to ensure an adequate level of indoor air quality and to control the accumulation of harmful contamination.

There are more standards than just AS1851 for maintenance of Air-handling Systems. There is also -

  • Air-handling and water system of building - microbial control AS3666.2 operation and maintenance.

  • Air-handling and water system of building - microbial control AS3666.3 Performance - base maintenance of cooling water systems.

  • Air-handling and water system of building - microbial control AS3666.4 Performance - base maintenance of air-handling systems (ducts and components).
